59th Annual Grammy Awards

2016 was a year of music packed with political protest, roaring culture and gender expression, artistic complexity, and for some artists, just pure freedom and fun. All seems more than usual compared to previous years.

With top-charting albums and singles from the music industry’s hottest and most relevant artists, the competition is tougher for this year’s Grammy Awards if you ask me.

We have Remy Ma’s All the Way Up reunion with Terror Squad family (which was hot with a lot of radio play!), Drake’s friends and reality-inspired album Views, Beyoncé’s surprise (relationship revelations…and black girl magic revolt) Lemonade visual album, Justin Bieber’s pop/urban-techno sounds in Purpose, and Adele’s love, life and heartache 25 album —- The Grammys should be pretty exciting!

After reviewing each music category and it’s nominees, here are some of Rated-Ransom’s winning picks … (this is my opinion for various reasons Y’all!!)
